@ExchangeSupplies I'm sad to report I have moved onto injecting. however the good news is the dope I get doesn't need any citric. just heat the water. I will order all my gear from your site to keep it as clean as possible.

@ontariobuds hi, the fungus that can grow on lemons, and then infect injectors are candidal yeast infections... i think there's a number of related organisms that can infect people.
-
@ExchangeSupplies is there a name for this fungus? i would imagine so.

@kripkiller102889 That is because a lot of the heroin in the US is white (or off white) heroin aka "H4 or Heroin #4. Heroin 4 is heroin hydrochloride the salt form of heroin. The heroin in the UK is brown (or fawn) aka H3 or Heroin #3. Heroin 3 is heroin base and as such it requires an acid in order to dissolve in water.
H4 can be compared to cocaine in the sense that both are hydrochloride salts and H3 can be compared to crack in the sense that both are in base form.

@kripkiller102889 The term H3 and H4 come from the steps in the manufacturing process, there is no H1 or H2 however.
The 1st step would be opium, step 2 would be morphine, step 3 is heroin base (H3) and step 4 would be heroin hydrochloride (H4). These are the VERY basic steps.
In the 4th step hydrochloric acid is added to turn the heroin base in to a salt, this is a more refined product.
In the case of black tar, this does not require an acid either, it is sometimes referred to as H3.5

@andytsa Lemon juice is VERY dangerous horrible stuff to use. As Exchange Supplies already said lemon juice can contain a fungus that can lead to blindness and even fungal endocarditis, a very serious infection of the valve in the heart. This can be very difficult to treat since the valves in the heart have no direct blood supply.
Endocarditis has a high mortality rate.
It is easier to get a "dirty hit" (aka cotton fever) from lemon juice also, highly unpleasant.
Ok so I purchased some citric acid powder from a store around my house, citric acid anhydrous"
I put my smack in a spoon, added enough citric to dissolve the heroin, and shot that shit. within 2 seconds my fingers felt tingly and then my hand and fingers swelled up, my arm looked like it had silicone injected and got wrinkly and I got no high, probably because I stopped half way because of the pain inb my fingers.
2 hours later it was gone. what happened? I know it's good dope

@ontariobuds Hi, it sounds like you might have accidentally injected into an artery (anhydrous just means 'without water').
ExchangeSupplies 5 months ago
@ExchangeSupplies I know, I just wanted to say exactly what it said on the bottle.
is there a way to tell a vein from an artery? There was blood in the syringe so I would of bet my last dollar it was in a vein, the other week I had injected in the same spot without citric, no high. I thought it was the citric but an artery makes sense I guess. The good thing is it has scared me away from injecting...for now at least. Do you know if your sachets are available in Canada?

@ontariobuds hi, you pretty much bet your arm it was in the vein - and nearly lost.
Being put off injecting sounds good to me - it's the most dangerous way to take drugs by far!
google the safer injecting handbook for more info on injecting risks/harm reduction etc.
