Put some potato peelings in your pan, cover with water and boil for 15 minutes.
Next, throw away the peelings and rinse the frying pan with very hot water,
wipe it and heat a little oil in the pan. Finally wipe the pan with a paper towel.
Your pan is ready to use.
After being used several times, your frying pan will be seasoned. A good steel
pan is one which has become black after being used several times.

Frying eggs on low temperatures is not a problem. The trick is to heat up the pan with the oil properly before lowering the heat to the desired temperature. Your lightly fried eggs will slide straight out of the pan and for a moment you will feel like you don't have a single care in the world.

In my opinion, they need better handles. They're just too awkardly narrow and don't suit the weight of the pans.

Anothr way of cooking pretty much non-stick w/o using oil is to poach in water. Eggs can even be poached directly in boiling water & w/o needing much water, if someone doesn't have a poacher; like me, fe. I put about 1/2in of water in my sauté pan, bring to rolling boil & gently slide eggs into the water. Need to add about 1tspn vinegar per quart of water for egg whites to hold together. WHFoods. com provides a link in recipes for poached eggs showing how easy it is to do. See Over 100 Recipes

Non-stick stainless steel pan - a video demonstrating how to season stainless steel pans to make them truly non-stick such that you can cook in them without needing to add oil. Oil is used to season the pan, but once that's done, then the oil is discarded and the pan is truly non-stick.

    Works for eggs, etc.

I'd sugest scrubbing off any resulting rust and re-seasoning it with oil.
