This is Gwawr Edwards singin her way to the top earning the Towyn Roberts Scolarship worth £3000 in the National Eisteddfod in Wales on the 8/8/07 in Flintshire. She sang an Aria by Gunno and was accompanied on the piano by Jeffrey Howard.

hmm. she's obviously very good. so is katherine jenkins. persnally i think that people who criticise constantly on youtube probably don't have any idea what they're talking about and/or have no life to speak of. and would rather spend their time having patty arguments about the merits of Katherine Jenkins voice. get a life.

I was at college with Gwawr... She deserves her success. She consistently worked very hard and made excellent progress. Jeff was wonderful as ever.

She is Fabulous. Her voice is beautiful. I took a friend to see her when she and her Father were here in America, and my friend was blown away by her voice. I have to admit, I am distantly related a few generations...but still related :-)

Ah yes - I see him on telly a lot. Excellent player. I have just re-read the comments about Katherine Jenkins and can't believe that the world still thinks she is something special! She appeared at the National Eisteddfod in Swansea and sang a few Welsh folksongs with incorrect words and missed out verses and got paid a fortune. You could have asked any girl on the field to do that concert and they would have sung her off the stage! Opera singer?-put her on a stage and see if you can hear her!

I don't believe that you would compare this beautiful and talented young woman to that horrific Jenkins creature or suggest that Gwawr would compromise her musical integrity in the POP world as Jenkins has. I don't undestand what you are thinking.

Please, GKJ, there is no need for this sort of talk. You just lower yourself to the level of the opera freaks. She is dowdy and nondescript, but otherwise seems a pleasant young woman who may do well at opera.
