Our country was increasingly prosperous for 200 years without a "Christian"(that would be Calvinist) majority. Even during the American Revolution, John Wesley was just as popular as Jonathan Edwards or George Whitefield. Also, even Jonathan Edwards wasn't a traditional Christian, at least in his writings. He comes off as a pantheist and a pragmatist sometimes.
Plus, the Calvinists prominent from 1770-1830 favored central banks, high tariffs, and public works like Hamilton.

The only salvation for our country is the same as it has always been for every one everywhere through-out all time. Jesus Christ. We must be willing to confess Christ. We must stop hiding behind the word conservative. We must stop the idol worship. We must give all glory to Christ.
