A video compilation of a year of fun with my RC18T including exploding tyres, jumps, loops, flips, wheelies, deep snow and even a dog attack!. It has been upgraded a fair amount and has taken one hell of a beating, For the curious amongst you here's the spec:

9200kv C4 Motor, Mini Tazer ESC, 3 Cell LiPo, Titanium CVDs, Steel Diff Gears, MIP Super Diffs, Dual Hitec metal gear servos with custom servo savers and everything bar the chassis is aluminium.

There is a build thread in TheToyz Forum:

It's been loads of fun and it goes pretty much everywhere - and quickly too! - Jam ;-)

  • in my opinion this vid is ammazing but the really great is the straights the car go, after lots of runs, maybe the double servo??, i own the 18mt1 ezrun combo 7800kv and use 2s A123 batteries , ..and of course very fats but , with troubles at steering, althought i try to eliminate, free movements (sorry my english) im thinking at getting the new version , mainly because og the improved steering ..the most important for me, congratulations!!!

  • @cristianoid Thanks! You could get a dp draglink from thetoyz that helps a lot, also the servo saver is really slack so you can put a bearing case round it to tighten this up (Check the dual servo mod on my channel). I've started using a cheap helicopter rate gyro (pg-03) plugged into the steering servo and it goes straight every time, it also helps with drifting, good luck! I've since made a lot of titanium mods for mine and plan to make a video soon. ;-)

  • Nice dog you got =D

  • I wish! The dog's not mine, it just found the car fascinating, most dogs just try to eat it ;-)

  • sweet rig, what gearing ?

  • it depends what I'm doing. on Rough ground I'll use a 60t Spur and 10t Pinion, for road bashing I'll use 57t/15t and for high speed I use 57/18t ;-)
