Hey nice I am glad someone saw themselves in my video. That photo with the extreme zoom pre-race with me under start I found on Flickr of myself (courtesy of QCRunner). It was a great day to race on Sunday.

I think she was more stressed about getting stuck in race traffic and missing me for most of the race this year. I know she is proud of my achievements though. Thanks for watching, Angie!

Thank you! I hope everyone can achieve that feeling of what happens when you train hard for something for months and when the time comes everything just works out great.

1 mile is definitely more than I could do when I first started. It just grow from there though and not ever believing I couldn't do it or I hit my limit. Thanks!

Like I told my HS daughter just start with a 2 min : 1 min run walk system and progress from there. She progressed to running a 7 miles race with me last year. At that point, it's just a small leap of training to running halfs, which are really the best distance race to do.
