Cornwall is full of pretty villages, quaint fishing ports, rugged hills and moorlands and ghosts, always there are ghosts. It has a soft, pretty, southern coast on the English Channel and a bleak yet beautiful, treacherous rocky coast along the Atlantic shores of Britain's extreme south-west tip. This documentary reveals the stronghold of King Arthur at Tintagel, austere ruins of castles, tin mines and stately homes of the rich and powerful of the past. But above all is the eternal presence of the sea.
