The same clip as the I'm So Afraid live video, but with just the amazing solo.

  • Not as fluid, that's for sure. I like Lindsey Buckingham, but for some to give him these accolades when this band had Peter Green AND Danny Kirwan is downright wrong. The original band was a monster.

  • The most underrrated guitarist ever backed by arguably rrhythm the most solid rhythm section ever! Doesn't get much better thab this folks!

  • that was a very screechy solo...not sure why he chose a 70's model les paul

  • >please take band politics elsewhere

    >scroll down

    >PETER GREEN HURR LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM NOT GOOD OLD FLEETWOOD MAC BETTER BUCKINGHAM TRY TOO HARD DURRR

However much you analyse it, it's still one of the best solos out there. WHO PLAYS IT DOESN'T MATTER. Are you here you listen to music or argue with guys on the internet? SHUTTUP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC.

  • @Robb3737, I happen to think all three of them are/were quite good. I just happen prefer Buckingham and Kirwan over Green, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate Peter's enormous talent.

  • I am getting a bit tired of all these Peter Green comparisons. Buckingham has his own very emotional and highly unique style. He has that special finger picking technique. But I must admit I prefer the later Lindsey who played on that Rick Turner guitar, which sounded clearer and had more bite. The best I'm so Afraid version on YouTube is probably from the Mirage tour (1982).

  • THIS IS SWAG

  • This is brilliant. Тhey have forgotten how they once sounded. Today, I do not even listen them. They had turned into a pale shadow of what they were.

  • Not a Peter Green "comment," but since dullness eludes me always, it was quite a surprise to read his bio on Wiki.

Good things come to those who wait and it wasn't until 2011, after listening to FM for at least three decades, did I happen upon this new information.

Pete, god bless. You earned it.

  • Lindsey was trying to play like Peter Green, and Danny Kirwan to gain respect of the older fans as a new guitarist in an established band. I hate to get technical but that version of his Gibson Les Paul was made during a bad time in the 70's. Peter Green owned one of the top five ('59)Gibson Les Paul's of all time.

Lindsey Buckingham's natural style has more in common with Mark Knopfler. Buckingham doen't do the blues very well.
