what are the risks of the injections if any?
-
I was on Lupron for 6 months for my endo. I heard there were really bad side effects, so I was not looking forward to it. It wasn't that bad though. At least for me it wasn't.
-
why weren't you looking forward to the next 5 months?
-
I would not feel too bad about the bruising. I had a nurse do my lupron shot and I have a huge bruise there. Even nurses can't do it without bruising, I guess. Side effects are starting to kick in and I am not looking forward the next 5 months. :(

How have the drugs made you feel. Are you feeling any side effects?

Were you able to schedule when you would start the injections. Like when a school term ends or do you have to be ready when the parents are ready? Thanks

@Deeperinthegarden No, I had no control over when I started any of the medications. I had to wait until the recipient's cycle was in sync with mine. Took a long time the second go. :/

The drugs made me feel pretty emotional for the most part. Once I was well into the follicle stimulating drugs, I felt really tired because I was so bloated.

$5,000 is standard.

how much money do you get for doing this?

$5,000 since they were successful in retrieving eggs. If my body hadn't responded to the treatment, I would have been given $500.
