Exclusive trailer for Star Trek: The Next Generation on Blu-ray, presented at San Diego Comic Con 2012. This classic sci-fi series was originally shot on film and edited on standard-def videotape. CBS is re-scanning all of the original film, reconstructing all of the edits, and rebuilding all of the visual effects to bring this fan favorite to full 1080p High Definition. haha, I was wondering why you thought I meant the original actors until I realized I'd actually said "cast". XD gosh i feel stupid. And yeah, although I liked the new movie, they did kind of completely miss the point. In other words, I'd like it a lot if it were supposed to be anything but Star Trek.

I meant get a new cast. I KNOW no one can ever replace the old one but I'd really like to see a decent continuation or reboot that's not a movie with lots of lens flares and action. Not that I didn't like the movie, as I've said before. I just thought it was lacking some important things, like I missed the relationships the crew all had with each other. In other words, I just wanna see more of TOS and I'm sure someone somewhere could pull it off.

Really? O__O DeForest Kelley and James Doohan have passed on and the rest is just old. Have you SEEN William Shatner?!! Not that he's a bad guy, but he does not look like Kirk anymore :o You CANNOT be serious.

I wish they'd bring back Star Trek but with TOS cast because it got cancelled and I would really like to see those brilliant characters with modern cinematography and not in an AU with lots of lens flares (not that that movie wasn't good).

I liked the trailer. It was very well-made in my opinion and makes the series seem interesting (which it is).
