  • @CurblineHighway Of course it wasn't a "stocked Mustang"! The Gran Torino was a 1975. They switched back & forth from column shift to floor shift with dual exhaust being a constant. I just find it a shame that none of the 1000 produced by Ford had power windows like Starsky's Torino, unless you requested it.

  • I remember seeing this 10 years ago on BBC2. It was great to see them mention S & H. :)

  • me too!! i love starsky and hutch!!! I WANT STARSKY'S CAR!! FORD GRAN TORINO!! W ITALIA XD.

  • Love them blokes 'guised up as "Strakers and Krutch"! And those coopers painted like the chase cars, best the Torino! Yes, the steering's on the right side, but it is Starsky who is the wheelman, not Hutch!

  • Wasn't a stocked mustang, it was first called a cult line.....later was found out to be an auto shifter 76.

  • A bit different from the version the US got...but we did have Kermit in ours. :)
