2.5 oz of silver is not hard to get to using junk silver coins, especially dimes. Plus, silver shot has no stamp on it proving it is silver. I believe it to be better to buy breakable bullion - like the the rounds Quality Silver Bullion produces, or junk silver - both are marked - junk silver with the date, and quality silver bullion marks each quarter of the round. Shot would be nice for making jewelry though, only it would be pure silver, not sterling, which has a lower silver content.

You can melt your shot and make some bullets with it. Or just use them as shotgun slugs. That way, no werewolf or vamp would dare to fuck with you.
