  • Tight ...wish I'd seen that reunion. Stay far away from that reunion LP though.......

  • 1st time I saw the Airplane was 1966, what a band. great video, brings back great memories of going to the gigs in SF during the 60's. I went every weekend until all the places closed. never cared for Days on the Green. Nothing like small place to see great music.

  • @jakeenan fuck u----. I barely remember the airplane..but I remember crown....1989 I was sober, focused, loved this tour...it was an absolute privelege

  • Amazing.... I remember this tour.....amazing

  • I will always hear Grace wise crack "I cant either" like she did on the Winterland album whenever I hear this song....classic wise crack..."In loyality to their kind, they can not tollerate our minds...I cant either"...lol...

  • @keo774 yup

    absolutely agree

marty balin's songs sucked on that lp, even more than paul

ice age was a great tune with beautiful lyrics, but it wasn't arranged so well

  • in 2010 well grace has crew cut big & paint

  • and Grace is 50 in this video and looks hot

  • @buttawitz whooo that lady is 71 and still soundslike that? thats amazing.

  • Yeah, the re-union album was pointless. They didn't come to the table with any decent tunes. That meant they were weak & at the mercy of the record company- something the old JA would never have allowed happen. Plus, it wasn't in their nature to just go out simply on a nostalgia tour, in retrospect they should've. If that was now they probably would've toured then cut an album like The Eagles did. Still, they got good closure.

They did a Live album of that tour, didn't they?

  • @netenute

they were old, but jorma and jack were in perfect fit!

  • The greatest things on this performances are Jorma's guitar and Jack's bass
