[Excerpts] The Pierce County deputy who fatally shot his wife's parents during a domestic violence incident was campaigning for tougher programs to help prevent just such domestic violence tragedies. In May, Allen Myron killed his parents-in-law, whom he blamed for meddling in his troubled marriage, before turning the gun on himself... Myron, while having trouble at home, was also actively pushing for prevention of domestic violence, and seeking help from father of Crystal Brame, a domestic violence victim. Brame's father, Lane Judson, said he doesn't know what to make of this -- a deputy who pushed for better law enforcement response to prevent domestic violence who then became a domestic violence perpetrator himself...
