The young girl, Angela Fatino, battled an addiction to methamphetamine for 2 1/2 years. She died on October 8, 1997.The death was determined to be suicide with a handgun, and the toxicology results confirmed meth in her system at the time. She was 15 years old at the time of her death.....
"The Poem" was written by Alicia Van Davis. At the age of 21 was found dead in a filthy restroom with a meth filled syringe in her arm.

  • I feel so bad for that girl it makes me want to cry

  • @Jacob4708 Same here. Imagine how many others that we dont hear about??

  • The poem was really inspiring and awesome so I wrote it down, shared it on Twitter, Im gonna write it on IMVU pulse and maybe even share it to facebook. If someone tries Meth after reading this poem..they are stupid and deserve their life to be ruined by it.

  • @Titusaki Great idea. That is why this video is on You Tube. I did a similar thing. I felt the same when I first read it.

  • Never tried TIC and never will!! Good poem! Going to print it out and give it to my health teacher and maybe read it to class.

  • @bakerlol2010 GREAT IDEA

  • Oh god

  • Damn.. I should have NEVER watched this.. :(

  • My tears are still falling as I try to warn whoever will listen ,,, Please , Please , Please if ever offered to you walk the hell away , Never and I do mean never have I had anything take hold of my life like Meth did, 3yrs of holding on strong until one day I had all that I could take ,,, My children meant more to me then this horrible drug, My story had a happy ending ,,, Will yours ,,,

  • @mrsethcorbin thats easy: they were abused as children. Loads of people try drugs, the difference between addicts and the 'didn't inhale' brigade is self-esteem. We live in a fucked up world where everything is shiny and sugar-coated on the surface, but behind closed doors, terrible things happen to children/teenagers on a much bigger scale than people realize. I don't just mean sexual abuse either. Neglect, sustained verbal abuse and lovelessness can be just as damaging.

  • one of the best poems ive read in a long time. i imagine what she coulda been if she wouldn't done meth...

  • look. this is how you beat addiction. go like this. I DONT GET ADDICTED TO DRUGS. DRUGS GET ADDICTED TO ME MOTHERFUCKERS AND REPEAT FOR 8 HOURS EVERYDAY.
