@iamtheoneandonly if there was no puppy mills or breeders, we wouldn't have these dogs born in the first place. The truth is, there are way more shelter dogs than breeder and pet store dogs. People have to euthanize these animals because no one adopts them, and there is no money to feed and care for them. It's a sad truth, but euthanasia is at least humane, and it happens to thousands of these animals. We need to spay and neuter, and we need to adopt, as the demand for store dogs wanes.

My dog's a rescue, and he is the light of my life. Yeah, he's an anti-social spaz, but he's my spaz lol No one is saying a bought dog cant be like that, but if you are ever looking for a dog, a mutt is the best way to go. Nature tends to fix health problems, just saying :)

Just curious but how many people here would object if an anti-abortion group made a similar commercial with women pushing a baby carriage containing the dismembered remains of an aborted baby?

Problem with dogs from the shelter is that they dont often bond with the owner, and many have problems. I adopted a few dogs from shelters. After a neighbor nearly got mauled and the mailman almost became a light snack, that was that. Better bet is to just spay or neuter your dog and avoid this in the first place.
