the thing is, even skating unless your doing street small stuff, a narrow board is for you. but this is snowskating, its different so a wider board is a must.

@janolapino cool, it's just my experience with the skis. i switched out my raslton for a lib ski and found it way harder to ollie and kickflip and marginally harder to control with it's width and rocker. it was better on rails and boxes cuz of the width though. these guys really need to focus on the top deck too and get that dialed, regular skateboard decks aren't scoopy enough in the nose/tail and the libs are too long, although i prefer the libs top decks. gerlac is gonna blow minds!!!

@tahoeclimber interesting point of view, but my 2010 lib doesnt feel dead at all. I can pop easier with a Ralston when I do it right, and it feels great. But when you take the time to understand the lib I can jump even higher just because I do the right moves with my feet to exagerate the ollie. The board doesnt seem high centered at all! it is very to turn and ride because of reverse camber. Seems more stable than ralston at slow speeds! each board is different. Ralston = pro, LIB = beginner.

the magna/rocker on libs is kind of a bitch. it makes the skate ride like a bar of soap cuz it's alway high centered. camber works way better for control plus you get more pop out of the ski instead of riding a pre dead (rockered) ski.

not to be a dick but quite possibly the worst review.....

didnt talk about the rockers on the ralston, gives it way more pop than a lib with bent mentals. lib has mag, c2 and btx makes it a way different ski. smaller deck gives you heal and toe drag. not sure what he is talking bout there. just put risers on the lib in between the trucks and your good to go.

ralstons are the shit.

lib tech and magnatraction kick ass.

rockers are the truth.
