  • LESSON FROM BUTCH... people ask me about my style, part of which is editing. I'm brutal. I still haven't really figured out my editor a Sony Vegas HD but mostly I go by instinct and work ruthlessly and very fast. I seem to recall when taking some animation classes with Ryan Larkin in the early 70's about just put a nice tune with a beat and the action will fall into place like magic. So... I was pretty happy to see a girl pull the train whistle right on cue...total chance... (country song).

  • If you wonder what I'm talking about... the whistle thingee... it occurs at 1:48

  • This is so brilliant idea! Love your way of filming!

  • @YOZcreative Thanks. Watched a lot of teachers and try to steal their best tricks.

  • @YOZcreative Now if I can only learn to control my editor. I'm using Vegas Studio HD now.

  • omg I cant believe my congo line got that big! I thought I had only 6 people.

  • @chrismissiles One last thing... I'm a motormouth... and I'm retired. I was a professional photographer. I'm an expert in all formats of photography and lighting. I've photographed high fashion models, cars, movie stars, famous people, food, booze, you name it... but video is still something I'm coming to terms with. Much different and I'm still learning. I hope to get better.
