2004 Award winning documentary from Impossible Dreams (then labelled as Spotlight Pictures). The film tells the story of Brian Sempowski, a nine-year-old boy suffering with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Through interviews with his family and friends, Brian's story unfolds in an inspiring look at love at its purest form.
The Crippled Lamb won three awards at The Cutting Edge Film Festival (Best Documentary, Best Director and Best Original Score) in 2004.
It then went on to win "Best Film" in 2005 at The Sprockets Jump Cuts Film Festival, a children's branch of the Toronto International Film Festival.
Since then, The Crippled Lamb has raised thousands of dollars for The Muscular Dystrophy Association and continues to raise funds and awareness today.
