This Standard is old...any guesses as to the year? It is in a building built in the 1920s, and the pipes are original 1920s pipes. The flushometer is original, as is the flush handle. The flushometer reads Royal Quiet Flush 2 and has the traditional bell cap. The flush goes on and on and is very good for such an old flushometer. This is how these Standards were originally meant to flush!
I have to correct myself: the toilet model is a Madera F-2222 due to the direct-fed siphon jet action. Aftons would have the swirl-type flush like the wall-hung Afwall.

Yeah, toilets like these consumed up to five gallons. The policy changed as early as 1973 to change the flush volume of (most) toilets to 3.5, and certain 5 gallon units were still being made up to 1992.
This A-S toilet appears to be an Afton F-2206 from early 1964 because of the older "Standard" marque on the china and, of course, the special text you found on the flushometer's chrome cap.
