I have always considered myself a Republican, and so has everyone in my family... but these people are despicable...Their not even really Republicans, they are socially conservative bigots who need a party to run under...I have been a political science major for two years, I'm certainly no expert but i know my PhD professors will back me up when i say that the things these people support make no political sense..... i can't believe these people got elected, there is no hope

I don't understand why so many white people associate Republicans with their race. The truth is that there are millions of White Democrats that don't feel that Obama is "Anti-White". Republicans try to cater to "White America" by making statements like "Obama is Muslim" and "Obama hates Whites", but it's total rubbish.
Obama is American just like us and he doesn't hate Whites at all. His only downfall (in my opinion) -if any- is that he gives in to Republican demands too quickly.
