@Ansett76 allowing gay marriage is a step in the right direction to allow any one, regarless of sexuality or creed to have the same rights as anyone else. WTF is wrong with it anyway?? Who is it hurting?? Fuck, there is so much more to be concerned about in this world today. A child raised with all it needs and plenty of love is better than spending a lifetime in foster care withmultiple carers. There are so many unwanted children needing a good home in this world, it should be encouraged.

The issue really isn't about whether or not 'gay marriage' will undermine 'straight marriage','cause most right-thinking people will have already worked it out,that it WON'T.All these anit-gay marriage morons are trying to do is undermine the LBGTQ's place in the wider community.Two people,regardless of sexuality or gender combination,& if they choose to,should have the right to recognise their partnership in any way they wish.It's NOT a straight prerogative.

@AdamTwentyFive do some research a lot of teen suicides are caused by closed minds just like that. Too scared to 'come out' because of the negativity about the issue around them. Realising that this is not a choice, that they are going to be this way for the rest of their life, the assumption is that they will never be accepted.....so death seems to be the only way out. Sad world we live in when a teenager commits suicide out of fear of non- acceptance of something that is not of their choice.
