moses, check out colloquial german 2, that's good as well. as is basic german grammar workbook.

Noch mal auf Deutsch: Ich habe mir den Kurs kurz angeschaut. Als Muttersprachler habe ich mir vor allem die Dialoge, die Texte und die Aufnahmen angeschaut. Sie sind von guter Qualität. Falls du Dialoge und Texte zum lernen magst, solltest du dir vielleicht auch einmal die Deutsch-Lektionen anschauen, die ich für die LingQ-Bibliothek erstellt habe.

I've had a short look on this course. As a native speaker I looked especially at the dialogues, texts and the recordings. The quality is good. If you like dialogues and text you should probably have a look to the German lessons that I've created for the LingQ library.

it didn't open for me, it downloaded perfectly fine, but it wouldn't open.

One more note: the dialogues are good because of their different registers. You'll get colloquial stuff and some texts with formal language - all explained well.
