We had to produce a short "chase" sequence for film school. We were (and still are) the few hockey fans in California, and decided to do a hockey chase. This is quite dated. At the time the Red Wings were unbelievably good...oh wait, they still are. That's my brother in the Wings sweater and his teammate plays Skater X. My oldest son, James (now 17) and my middle son, Sean play the two youths. Sean is in the stroller. Mike Mack did an excellent job with the camera( he's the one getting his face smashed) and Tim Harris took another one for the team (He gets pushed into the bushes.) In an earlier project, TIm had to hide in some bushes. As it turned out, he was sitting in poison oak. Also, there is an homage to Eisenstein's Battleship Potemkin in one of the scenes.
