  • I'm about to shoot myself too. My MOEN faucet has 9 different pieces to the damn aerator. What in the F#@K do you need a areator for in the first place? Fact #1, You only need a filter. 3 pieces only. 2 rubber gaskets and the filter. Done, end of problem.

    1) Put the plug in, so that if you drop any of the bits they wont go down the drain.

    2) Soak the bits in vinegar to remove built up scale / mineral deposits.
