Just another typical flight with my Freewing F35 purchased at Hobbycity. I'm using a 2200mAh Zippy lipo and a 4300kv 64mm EDF. AR6100 and DX6i. With good throttle management I'm getting 8 min flights. At this time I had been flying planes for about 7 months (including the winter).

  • Having trouble hand launching mine. After a good flight, went into the ground on 2nd hand launch.

  • @will3kgt Ya, I though I had it down, but I've nosed in a few times. The secret is to make sure there is a good head wind. Plus the thrust vectoring mod really help keep control at low speeds. Depron or $store foam board works great for repairs. This planes has been upgraded to a 70mm EDF now. Sounds great. Good luck!

  • How do you have your trim set on the elevator. I went to fly mine and it went out of my hand right into the ground and broke into pieces. Thanks nice vid

  • I have about 2mm of up trim. Launch is still tricky as you can see from the video. Launch at 1/2 - 3/4 throttle and throw almost straight out in front of you, not up or it will stall and crash. This jet has a lot of down thrust so be careful when going full throttle at low speeds, and never full at launch. Hope that helps. Sorry about the crash, I've had 1 rebuild on my nose so far on this jet from a bad hand launch.

  • Seen your link at Hobbycity.

Your plane really rocks... I just got in to copters with a T-Rex 450SE V2 and am loving it and now your giving me inspiration to try a fixed wing aircraft.

    5 Stars

  • I actually started off rotary wing (Blade 400) about 11 months ago and have moved on to fixed wing for about the last 9 months. I love them both. I do love this plane. Low fast passes are great..and its only stock. Can't beat the Hobbycity price and customer service as well. I am now exclusively a Hobbycity customer. Just got the HK450 to replace the Blade 400. I would not recommend this as a first fixed wing though. Hand launch is tricky and you really have to be a head of this guy.

  • @B4its2L8guy I always throw into the wind. The torque from this motor makes it nose down and it's very hard to get used too. I don't have this issue with my other planes & this was not that much of an issue when I flew this jet last year. I'll take it out tommorow with better results hopefully. Thanks for the advice.

  • nice! ill have to get me one of these!

  • cool nice flying

  • Very good job. You look as if you been doing this for a while...keep it up..

  • Yeah!! straif'in the corn fields. That plane looks so good in the air. I can't believe you have been flying only 7months. I didn't try an EDF till a year or so after starting the hobby. OK, you are a good candidate for a being a great helicopter pilot....or maybe you are flying them already?

  • I noticed you were pretty darn quick on the stick after the hand launch. Super Job, you da pilot !

I'm pretty much addicted to making Hobbycity my first stop every day just to see what the new unbelievable deal is. They sure make this sport much more enjoyable. I would like to see them get some bigger copters. I've pretty much got my sights set on getting a Gaui Hurricane 550 :)
