And just because I am making a legitimate argument with you don't turn to bashing me just because my argument is legit. The problem with typical youtube viewers is that when they start loosing an argument they immediately start bashing and name calling the person who is making a valid point. Just because I have 'no technique' here in this video doesn't mean jack shit anyways. This video as I said I made at least 4 YEARS AGO, and now it is designed to gauge my progress as a musician and a pianist. If you want to be an asshole feel free to do it somewhere else, I don't accept douche bags bashing me because they don't like my old ass video from when I was in high school. Please be considerate next time of other human beings, I'm not a fucking brick and have no emotions you know.

If you're going to blatantly be an ass then I will gladly block you, I don't need a troll telling me how to play music, when I specifically said 'I admit My technique here was not that great' because I made this video at least 4 YEARS AGO. So you can take your genuine asshole trolling to another video, if you want to make some constructive criticism next time then please do instead of calling me crap and saying I simply cant play

@JetForceF22 You've missed the point - you're crap! You can't compare yourself with B.B. King or anyone else .. because you can't play! You think prodding around on a keyboard and calling it blues makes it 12 bar style ?!! Your left-hand is just a dead weight .. no rhythm there whatsoever. Your right-hand plonking around randomly .. also doesn't make it blues. Don't think you'd sell many CDs unless people needed a coaster for their mugs!

If the song doesn't follow a 12 bar progression is it not blues? If the changes are not typical blues changes is it not blues? My answer is No, there can be different variations and takes on even the most traditional styles of music, and Blues should not be relegated to this kind of standardizing. I have heard blues played a million different ways, and some so obscure that it takes a chorus or so to even recognize it. But because its not the norm you cant say that a different style is not blues.

While I will admit at this time my overall technique was not this good, Blues shouldn't be relegated to what the book tells you. Just because the 2nd measure chord doesn't go to 4, stays at one, or does something random like a descending major third, or augmented 5ths with a major triad built off of it, then the next chord is a decending 2-5 progression until it reaches the 5th measure then resolving to a 4 major instead of a dominate chord, does that not make it blues?
