yes the device has a software radio. which means it will work on a variety of cellular networks. What really sucks about this device is that it most likely will not be able to run windows mobile 7. So your 750 bucks msrp is better spent on a consumer grade device, not to mention that they will most likely upgrade the memory in the midst of its distribution and render the device worth less...when they should have just came out with something that expected the trend.
