I wonder how long it would take to process such a query on a large data set? I'm building an app that will collect large tag clouds and want to run queries on the data... I guess it would be a balance of performance vs. # of tags searched (ie most popular tags)

jjbongo I wish you were right, but actually this is an excellent idea, the first search engine to offer this will pressure the others to follow suit.

It's not clear from the presentation whether this makes sense or not. What do the rows of the tab represent? Why are there lots of rows with the same value under 'renneto'? Is this something you've thought though, or are you making it up as you go?

Each row is a different set of data. So you may see the same value repeated in many rows, but no two rows will be duplicated. It just represents of the items with a tag, how many remaining items have another tag, which should be a smaller or equal number of items. Yes I have thought through this. I will eventually get around to building this system myself, but I welcome competition, on different programming language platforms, which I don't intend to build. :D
