Cutting room floor extras from Silence Of The Lambs, which is a shame,as this delivers the most powerful and psychological understanding in analysis towards Buffalo Bill.A delight to see the character Hannibal Lecter emotional and empathetic, enjoy.

  • Aw :c Hannibal looks so sad :c

  • @micNhav Best scene, shame they ditched it,gave a deeper understanding of Hannibals' psyche and understanding.

  • Where did you get that from? It is not on the DVD.

  • @hyperseauton Strange that, cause this clip gives the movie dynamic not explored with Lectors character,Loggeronline reckons it's in the video, maybe,as a DVD extra, but not part of the films original release.I found this clip,in a folder on someone elses PC,made a copy and uploaded it here,to compliment the study into pathological minds and how they're made.Moving scene, must admit, one of the best.

  • @thelyran

I am glad you did upload it.

  • @hyperseauton thankyou,it was edited,the cutting room floor extras,was about

20 minutes long, part of it,is on Youtube, where Hannibal takes over the driver controls of the Ambulance, and drives casually off.Great film. The rest of the extras,

were'nt worth reproducing and was done for a conspiracy website,as a guide to show how these negative occultist are made, not born, similar to sociopaths.

    Glad you enjoyed it,regards.

  • Jonathna Demme recyled this scene in Philadelphia

  • this is a great scene but i think they made the right decision in leaving out of the film. He says alot of this dialouge in the movie just not in that order. The thing about the personality test wasnt in the movie but it was in the book I strongly urge anyone who likes this scene to read the book.

  • I wonder if he looks like he's crying because they may have put drops in his eyes? That would explain how he's able to not blink though all of that.

  • absolutely mezmorizing!

  • How the hell does he never blink?!

  • Thanks for this. I've only just discovered this outtake on the double disc editon (from 2001?) which I bought eight years ago. This is SO powerful and very frightening - why the hell did they leave this out?? The atmosphere this generates is rife with the hopelessness of incarceration, human savagery, sadness and a teetering and sickening understanding of human suffering.

A supreme example of Hopkin's searing performance. This should've been left in!Forget the sequels, SOTL is the best.
