Gotta be careful not to get it hot tho....thats death for the flathead. I have a 53 Crestline Victoria, I love the flathead, and to this day that is the only flaw I've found with it.

I have seen one or two of these engines used for irrigation. Not the most efficient engine due to it being a flathead, but they'll run practically forever.
