I agree that the world will always be chock full of competing interests that will frequently (though unfortunately) have to be resolved with force.

The issue with governing/ruling bodies, as opposed to genuine 'referees', is that power ALWAYS corrupts eventually. And when the people are protected, they become dependent. And then it is a matter of time before the power flips from the people to the elite.

I don't have a solution, I'm just pointing out one of entropy's ironic incarnations.

Another sad problem is that many ordinary people are FUCKING NUTS, with religious obsessions, superstitions, and prejudices.

FBI sided w the KKK for example and similar groups, KKK was fully infiltrated into govts. KKK got a free pass compared to various Left groups, labor, human rights, etc, no matter how benign.
