The ETUC - European Trade Union Confederation called for a europewide Day of Action against the EU austerity measures, job insecurity and poverty. My photo & video presentation accompanied by powerful music. On the 29th of Sept. 2010 were general strikes in Spain and Greece and in many European cities activities and demonstrations. In Brussels was a huge transnational march with about 100.000 participants. It was important and powerful, but only a single Day of Action isn't enough! It can be the start for further struggles in the near future.
Greece's sellout is just the beginning... It's necessary to unify the struggles across all borders... for alternative politics beyond capitalism and patriarchy! Free of classes, oppression and greed for profit! We won't pay for their crisis!
Think globally, act locally! The liberation of the workers is the work of the workers themselves!
Tous ensemble! - All together against unemployment and wage-dumping!
We have nothing to lose but our fear! - Wir haben nichts zu verlieren außer unsere Angst!

I hope you like the video-presentation and you'll join next time the activities where ever you are. I'm looking forward to your comments... Danke - Evcharisto - Merci - Thanks in advance!

European Marches against unemployment, job insecurity and exclusions.
Marches Européennes contre le chômage, la précarité et les exclusions.
Europäische Märsche gegen Erwerbslosigkeit, ungeschützte Beschäftigung und Ausgrenzung.

Music: Bella Ciao, Bandiera Rossa (Avanti Popolo), Die Internationale and the last song: Einheitsfrontlied - "Song of the unity front" by Bertolt Brecht (text) Hanns Eisler (melody) Ernst Busch (famous singing interpretation) - here sung by Hannes Wader.
Gender free translation... ;-))

1) And because a human is a human being
That's why one needs food - please! (Don't mention it!)
A gossip does not make sated
It brings no food! (to us)
Refrain: Therefore left, two, three
Thus left, two, three
Where your position is, comrade!
Rank to the working class unity front
Cause you are a worker too.
2) And because a human is a human being
One needs also clothes and shoes!
A gossip does not give warmth
and also no beat of drums.
Thus left...
3) And because humans are human beings
They don't like boots in their face
and no slaves (servants) below them
and no lord above them.
Thus left...
4) And because the proletariats are proletariats
Thus they can free themselves
The liberation of the workers
can only be done by the workers!
Thus left...

  • @Kirkh70 You're welcome!

YES, it's necessary to unify the struggles across all borders... for alternative politics beyond capitalism and patriarchy! Free of classes, oppressions and greed for profit!

Therefore it is important to educate the people, so they can take over the factories and the production... We need no rulers, it's our own responsibility!

    "So comrades, come rally

And the last fight let us face

The Internationale unites the human race..."
