What if the Beatles had not broken up in 1970?
Here is a preview of their "albums" starting in 1970 after 'Let It Be' until the fall of 1975.
(to be continued with 1976 - 1979)

  • Had the Beatles gone on in the seventies they would have probably sounded something like ELO.

  • @1FineYoungCannibal That's something that's said alot,or that ELO picked up where the Beatles left off. While I like ELO, I still think that most of the songs the Beatles did during their solo years in the 70's would've been on their albums had they stayed together. I'll admit that they might have sounded different only because they would've had each others input as they did when they were together. I think John once said that if you want a new Beatles album just listen to their solo material.

  • Here's some suggestions for your past masters: John's Remember, Look At Me, I Found Out all sound Beatlesque. Cold Turkey is another in my opinion should have been a Beatle song. George's Be Here Now, The Light That Has Lighted The World, and Living In The Material World

I do have Cold Turkey on my 'All Things Must Pass' album (disc 2) and Look At Me is on 'Hot as Sun'

  • @cometandcupids I do love that medley, and I was thinking about putting it on, but I think in my effort to keep it even amongst the four of them, 10 minutes of "just" Paul was a bit much (mind you not for me since it is one of my favorite things on RRS.) I also have some Past Master albums I have yet to post, and I also thought of putting it on one of those, but didn't (but depending on how I feel, I still may.)

Good suggestion though, and one I may reconsider!

  • I would have added to Luck Of The Irish the medley from Red Rose Speedway. In my opinion it's Abbey Road medley #3.
