  • Hi ftenzer,

I'd like to answer your question but I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Tell me more and I'll have a shot at it.

It'd be great if there was a cure for depression. The brain is very complex, though. If depression were just caused by one gene or one missing piece of brain chemistry, it might be different, but there are so many different things interacting that it's going to be a long time before that happens.

  • If stressful life events really trigger clinical depression and if there are really biological underpinnings behind clinical depression, then how would a teenager or anyone else react if they did not have these biological factors (like, for example, the ones you mention in the video) but they go through the exacts same stressful life events? Please tell me and everyone else the truth.

Create a cure for clinical depression and everything that causes it so that there will not be a need for meds!
