Another great video! However, it seems something has happened to part II.
I am wondering how you have personally come to reconcile your willingness to gamble on Obama with the evidence you've provided here, indicating generally that preparedness to assume office is of such central importance.
More fundamentally, how do you define preparedness? Can we anticipate a candidate's ability to succeed or is it an abstract factor that can't be estimated by one's experience?

An excellent question.I have no intuitive grasp of the demands on a president.My guess is that one must know more than one's advisors or become a prisoner of them.I was impressed by Obama's understanding of indiduals both as individuals and as members of a culture,including political constraints.This comes from his first book and from interviews and booksignings.I admit this is thin material.My hunch is that he is less likely to exploit Americans to achieve putatively trancendant goals.Thanks.
