There is a correct way to eat it. If you go to any Ramen place in Japan and just start eating however you like you will get dirty looks. Also Why is it a bad thing to have a coke?

your throat with air. With air eating make the temperature feeling lower.It means Slurp eating. IN JAPAN ONLY NOODLE IS ALLOWED TO EAT SLURP BY ZEN BUDDHIST TRAINING.
