Porsche Silverstone Driving Experience with Michelin - GT Cup, GT3RS, Carrera, Targa 4S

Shmee150 overviews the Porsche Driving Experience centre at Silverstone with some clips of cars on the track including a Targa 4S, Carrera, Cayman, Boxster Spyder and more as well as showing some of the other cars on sight including the historic 356 Spyder, GT Cup, plenty of new Cayennes and more!

Many thanks go to Michelin tyres for the invitation; the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyed and the tyres hold up wonderful when you consider the workload they deal with day in, day out.

Does an instructor driving with you? I was invited to the BMW Driving Experience. Drove the M3, M5 and M6. They give you your own M car and instruct you via radio.

@Mazda6B6 Oh wow, no at Porsche they send an instructor in the car; it sounds dangerous to just put people in cars as powerful as the M cars without someone to force you to put the brakes on if needs be!

@Shmee150 Yes, that would be pretty dangerous. I forgot to add that the instructors first lead ( driving their own M car) everyone around the different tracks informing you where you need to brake, accelerate, etc. Gradually the instructors increase speed on the course. The instructors eventually exit the track to let everyone have fun. The only time the instructors were in the car was when they teach you how to drift around wet track.
