I believe they didn't, but even if they did, SO WHAT?! They changed his life, game him love, food, a roof over his head and an opportunity, in the end, he's the winner. This family is rich anyway.
@GameplayXperience They do deserve it, and its amazing, what they did!, if just more Family's could do the same it would change the World! but many people doesnt understand the reality anymore.
What a family!!! I can say that Michael was lucky, but that same luck goes for the Tuohy too, not for the mony, or a roof, but yes, the love of a good son and goos parents. Those people are incredible, It's a family that millions of other families just wish to have that love. Even Sandra Bullock cried in the oscars 2010, i also cried watching The Blind Side!!
I'm just really happy for the whole family, they really deserve it.
I can't stand these people who notice their financial benefit. Do you really think the Tuohy's set out with that goal?! Who knew that this story would be made into a movie? Who knew that these people would be asked to do talk shows and things?! The Tuohy's are good people, they helped this boy out of the goodness of their heart! More people need to follow their example...
Also, it says in the Bible that those with wealth should give back to their community. Just because I don't have more money than God like the Tuohys doesn't mean that they should be less charitable just because they horde. Also, just because someone has lots of money doesn't make them better than me in any way, shape, or form. It just means that they have more money. America is not an oligarchy.
@outinsider LMAO@"plenty"! You run your damned ignorant mouth about your concept of "injustices" and yoiu "support countelss charities through activism" (more bullshit without any sacrifice of your OWN money). You worthless little hypocrite! You believe in spending other peoples' money and telling other people what to do and you piss on your better because they "already" had jobs and then claim that they needed to "sell their charitable 'act'"?!? You're as irrational as you are stupid.
LOL sandra bullock did a pretty good job in real life, leigh anne tuohy's sound just like the one in the movie
