It is true that they are Canadian. The grew up in Canada after their family left Iran. They were never asked if they were Iranian and denied it. Sometimes it is easier for the feable and small minded and easily judgemental to say that you are from North America until they get to know you better and then reveal the truth. They are just trying to be positive ... not hide things. Anyone can see they are Iranian from their music. They cannot hid that even if they wanted. Stop being so judgemental.
