  • @damian13531 one other guy said it too - a male Baba Wawa

  • Considering this series was made in the year I was born I had always refrained from viewing it. But, surprisingly, this series still has a lot to offer, despite the annoying biblical references. Too many if not all documentaries these days are full off eye bleeding graphics and over dramatised narration, we need more Bronowskis.

  • @Sundaydish1 Thanks for sharing your opinion.

  • I first saw these when they were released in the early 70s. Bronowski's was a great story teller (lecturer) and had an interesting take on humanities rise. Thank you for postings these.

  • I think the Jericho Tower is just a big chimney! They just started a fire in there or on top to signal surrounding towns.

  • I think you people complaining about the biblical references are really badly missing the point. He is obviously not quoting the bible as fact, merely pointing out that it does contain some historical record, and it is the best preserved and most detailed historical record of that time by so far that theres no point in even bothering to reference anything else

  • great stuff. too many biblical references but still good.

  • love the desire to tell the truth without PC

  • Watched this great series in a High School Chemistry taught by Mr. Faludi. Thank you sir.

  • I love this series but like previously stated, the ethnocentrism of the era raises a wry smile. His summation between 9:42 & 10:19 that the Persian nomads don't have a single original thought to offer and that each son only ever wishes to be like their father, how could one possibly know that? Each new mechanical tool or innovation that is bartered into their culture would alter their subjective conception of the world in subtle ways that their fathers and grandfathers would have no experience of.

  • AAAA LOOK a primitive lathe awwwww xD :)

  • @Sundaydish1 This documentary is primarly talking about a cultural and tehnological evolution of humans so the biblical references are quite in handy cause some of the events from a Bible are real historical events (Roman empire, Egypt and some part of Jewish history) and therefore involved in cultural evolution of humans. Also humans from the old ages were much more oriented on a religion than the science, so it's logical to insert some of religeious storyline :) Bronowskis rocks!!!
