  • I think this is a parody to make fun of Keanu Reeves

  • I love it when people just don't get it. This must be what God feels like all the time.

  • jajaj i loved that shit

  • Why don't you make fun of ridiculous movies bsabiston... Simply nobody who saw the movie and understood what the author wanted to say would upload some dumb shit like this video here on Youtube.

    K.C.

  • the like/dislike ratio is way too close to 50/50. Do that many people really not get it?

  • @alexandermccarthy yup, that's all i'm saying, which is why i hesitate to use singular or plural and refer to God as an organization, but in my initial comment i was refering to the biblical Gd for shits and giggles

  • @part2themovie I'm not disagreeing with you that human perception of the world around them is what constitutes reality for most people, and neither am I saying that I disagree with your assertion that computers will be capable of creating virtual worlds that, in many ways, will be more "real" than the physical world, but what I am saying that is has nothing to do with god on any level, unless you're using the term to mean "creator", as in the creator of a virtual reality.

  • @alexandermccarthy I think it's very simple once you get past the fact that reality or existence isn't as significant as we think. the point of it is to feel real. in a few years, as i have said video games will be immersive enough to duplicate actual reality and the same cycle will continue because there is no good or evil, just self-ish things capable of transcending planes of existence to experience new things in bite sized life spans. Schroedinger was completely off

  • @alexandermccarthy when anyone says god you have a general idea as to what they are referring to, to some degree. for most Christians what they refer to as god are aliens. but beyond those biblical references, all the laws that make your individual perception coherent from day to day isn't the result of arbitrary permutations coalescing into sentience from nothing. as i said, beyond this higher encapsulation i have identified as god, i don't know what other gods these gods may have, ad infinitum

  • @part2themovie God, or gods, are a human invention to explain away everything which was not able to be known at the time when the god,or gods, were created. Reality is based on individual perception, largely as a result of the individual's ability to comprehend space/time, but the fact that humanity (by and large) is unable to comprehend the nuances of this, and other related, phenomenon, is hardly a reason to attribute anything to a higher power.

  • @part2themovie Rather condescending of you to assume that "I lack the prerequisites to follow" your reasoning when, by your own definition, you created your god.

  • @alexandermccarthy Everything that exists in this reality is based on a function of time, hence it has a beginning but not necessarily and end. Reality is created, it has rules defined so that it behaves in a particular manner that is predictable and can be evaluated by science.

In a few years, we will be able to create immersive environments exactly like the matrix where you cant tell you're not in reality. The people who create these machines will not be God. They will be humans.
