I like the additional guitars and heavier beat, but it would have been a lot better if they had kept the tempo of the Judy Collins version. I mean it's not a bad version, but it's not extraordinarily great either.

What an absolutely horrible version of this beautiful ballad and the change of lyrics from "something's gained" to "nothing's gained" completely nullifies the song's message. Just plain awful!

This actually quite cool! Does anyone know why the lyric change at 1:51-1:53? (The original: "Something's lost, but something's gained in living every day..."; this version: "Something's lost, and nothing's gained in living every day...") It's a small change, but I'm curious if Rick Twombly ever said anything about it. It makes the song less hopeful, though no less poignant. Anyhoo, they did a great job, and thanks for the post!

AHHHH I know the band. Great band in New England area. This song is probably at least 15 years old, as I had the CD in college. Power Pop at it's best! I THINK they still play off and on....
