These recruting ads are pretty inspiring. A hell of alot better than 1980s and 1990s army recruiting ads. Those are pretty corny.. lol

well i say well done, well done, my entire family dating back to the Irish revolution has fought, and since the civil war my family, the Rogers family, has joined one military branch the U.S ARMY. The Rogers family has been in every war and conflict known to man.... now im next, age 15 and already on ROTC and ARMY Recruitment Program. so well done.

Also, on a more finishing note, although I may disagree with you on some of your ideas, concepts and interpretations, I do appreciate the debate, even if I may defend the US Army and the other branches of the military rather zealously.

Are Americans free to not pay taxes related to their business? Nope. So where is this freedom than thinks Americans have? Freedom of speech? HA! Think free speech zones and total police harassment when assembling peacefully. Youtube is full of American police/para military kicking the crap of of freedom right here in America. Freedom of religion? Nope. Americans do not want freedom they want to be coddled which is why they are not free. Any other reasons to justify destroying Iraq?

@frozen78996587 Good point and I agree somewhat, perhaps rights have been limited a bit, and I think its good that people recognize this and move to fix it. But its also important to realize its more then what other people get, on one side, Americans have grown to having themselves "coddled" but on the other side, we don't tend to appreciate the rights that we do have, which are in a far greater quantity then many people around the world, in which we are trying to help them fix this.

Hey Lance,

Is an American free to start a business in America without permission from the government? Definitely not anymore. Licensure is required. Great example of a natural right being turned into a privilege by the American government. If we are are not free to start a business then we are not free at all. Americans are clearly not free so you are going to have to explain how soldiers are fighting for freedom but never delivering it to Americans.

The army is not protecting me at all. You are asserting they are so you have the burden of proof. Please demonstrate how any soldier is protecting me(an American) by annihilating Iraq and occupying 150 countries. Clearly this task is very difficult for you.

@hideousgrog No, that's not what I'm saying. Your allusion to Iraq by using a comparison with the state of California doesn't apply. The Army's goal in Iraq is to rebuild, not destroy, that's why it costs a good bit of money. Iraq is not being annihilated, that's a clear exageration. And why do you keep asserting that soldiers follow every order without question? There are orders that are considered "illegal." Soldiers are suppose to be able to recognize these and refuse to partake in them.
