Copenhagen trike ride

We had rented a Winther family trike to ride around Copenhagen. It weighs nearly 100 pounds and can carry a couple of children in the front compartment. Despite the weight, they are easy to ride in the flat Danish terrain, and they are very common. The passenger compartment remains reasonably dry and quite warm. We loaded the trike with a picnic lunch, some rain gear and other warm clothing, and a few tools and cameras. The trike has a 7- or 8-speed hub, a coaster brake, a full chainguard, fenders, and a rear rack. It might be hard to ride in a hilly area, but we each managed a 6 or 7 kilometer ride with the other one as a passenger, and Dale had no trouble on a 30+mile ride.
