  • Now thats how you cover a song..

  • @MagikDick It was pretty amazing. Fantastic cover. They made an iconic song all their own. They were very cool, very punk at the time.

  • @PAULLONDEN just because roxy and eno were a big influence doesn't mean he had a big influence on the recording of the record at all, and besides the songs were already fully formed before eno's input. they weren't pupils needing to be schooled and if they were, they were worse off for it in my opinion, their 70's stuff is vastly superior to FOC onwards, give me the hardcore stuff any day

  • @fuckamericanidiot Wasn't the band leaning over his shoulder to learn from the master ? Devo were heavily influenced by his input in Roxy Music ,and his solo work. "Here Come The Warm Jets",was a template of how Devo wanted to sound. Consequently "Are We Not Men" sounded almost like a Eno solo project. So much for "having little of his own input".Concerning 'Anal'..Eno probably was adjusting to a bunch of enthusiastic young Yanks, eager to get some unusual sounds on tape.

  • @PAULLONDEN actually eno said he found them 'anal' and had jerry leaning over his shoulder at every second so ended up having little of his own input

  • TOO NOISYYY i dont like =(

  • 2:50 of fun, after early 70's "progressive rock"...!!!

  • every aspect of this is awesome...the awkward drumbeat, the Benny Hill jerky movements, the bass line, the 3 guitars and the vocals
