  • Damn, bas is good, all he says makes perfect sense!

  • Bas Rutten is a great fighter and all, but I don't know if that technique will help you win the fight. It might help in some exchanges. Machida is way better then that, and Karate is not the only thing he knows. I'm pretty sure he can think of 100 other things he can do in a fight. Machida is the MAN!

  • @johneblaze82 Bas is Bas.

  • i think shogun watched this video lol, he did leg kicks like bas said and he countered machidas punch leading to the K.O. which bas also said. Mahcida still a beast, he defeated shogun fair and square. Dont cry.

  • @johneblaze82 He retired 7 years ago so yeah...

  • @Flyingwall

Who the hell are you to question Bas' fighting knowlege? You don't think MMA fighters have sills that are reflex? When Shogun was kicking the hell out of Machida's legs, and stopping his offence, that looked like reflex to me.

  • @opert56

Bas Rutten has forgotten more about fighting than everyone commenting here knows about it.

  • Huh. So why did Machida HIMSELF say he had a plan A, B and C to beat Rashad?

Every good fighter has a strategy. Now great fighters can adapt that strategy in real time, which is what makes them great. But that is not about karate, it's about the individual.

So think before speaking next time kiddo.

  • Good in theory Bas!! Dont think it will happen though! Hope not. I want to see Lyoto stir that division up for time to come!

  • uhhh.... lyoto came into the UFC at UFC 67, not UFC 64

  • no i dont think randy could beat machida. he might be able to beat lyoto if he used his wrestling and takes lyoto down and control him. but that probably wouldnt happen because he wouldnt be able to catch lyoto. so i definetly think lyoto would win if that fight were to happen. but that fight probably never will happen so it doesnt really matter
