I think that the viola has the best parts in the song... GO VIOLA!!!!!
-
i play this on trumpet
-
i play the bass clarinet in this song
-
This is SOOOOOOOOO such an AWOSOME!!!!! song!!!!!!!!!
-
Looks like thew common orchastra instraments like the clarinet, flute, saxophone, trombone, and trumpet(Trumpets rule!) act as alternates for other instranments such as the violin, baritone, tuba and cellos. The trumpets have a part that was played by violens, tell me that is true.

my orchestra is also playing this song.
not feeling very orginal
i am 1st chair bass even tho there is only two of us x]
-
me too

exactly wat i was thinking, we're playing this (not much part for the viola i guess, only like wat 2 solos?) people critisize this piece way too much and maybe its because the sound quality was bad?
-
yeah i love that part but other then that theres nothing really to the cello or bass part though, i thought it was really easy and boreing {i play the cello}
-
I'm in a little orchestra and we've been playing this =D I'm one of the first violins. I love the cello part around 1:45, I always listen out for that bit.
As a veteran of IMC (1997 - 1999), I have more sympathy for these pieces. Yes, some more work would have helped. What you are seeing is the culmination of one week--that'r right, ONE WEEK. These musician are high school aged or younger. They go from getting a piece of music on day 1 to making it performance ready by day 7. That's a lot of work. I commend everyone who goes to IMC as this is an extraordinary experience that gives a lifetime of memories. Don't be so harsh. Why's everyone a critic?
