Honda - Impossible Dream - Comercial (HD)

Hondas Impossible Dream campaign was aired on December 2nd, 2005, in the UK as a panoramic two minute television commercial featuring actor Simon Day riding and driving some of Hondas historic milestones. We start at the coast, with a gull on a fishing boat. A vintage record player starts playing a single: The Impossible Dream. Someone reaches out for a jacket and crash helmet. Gulls fly around the rocks as our rider comes out of his caravan, singing:
To dream the impossible dream. ...starts up a Z50M Monkey bike (mini 'circus' motorcycle).
To fight the unbeatable foe. comes round the corner on a 1958 Supercub C100 (historys best-selling bike), chased by sheep dogs.
To bear with unbearable sorrow. rides past sheep, horses and windswept trees.
To run where the brave dare not go. now hes riding a 450R four-wheeler ATV along a beach.
To right the unrightable wrong.
singing in an S500 (Hondas 1st car, 1963) on the coast road.
To love pure and chaste from afar. cuts through a village on a Goldwing.
To try when your arms are too weary. heads into the mountains on a 2RC143 racing bike (winner of 1961 world TT Race).
To reach the unreachable star. This is my quest.
tears up a gravel road in an S2000 roadster.
To follow that star, no matter how hopeless.
cruises along a river channel in a white NSX aluminium super sports car (1990-2007).
No matter how far. carves the hills on a Fireblade.
To fight for the right.
now our drivers racing a vintage sixties RA272, which morphs into an eighties BAR Honda F1.
Without question or pause, to be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause. [they make it sound: heavenly car ]
zooms across a lake in a Powerboat.
And I know if Ill only be true to this glorious quest glides over the edge of massive brazilian iguaçu - Devils Throat, worlds largest - waterfalls (the horizon is applied with NZ alps); the music pauses* ...and from a balloon he ascends gloriously out of the water spume

The first Honda motorbike was nicknamed The Dream. But the significance of the flying wing on the Honda motorbike logo is from Soichiro Hondas dream to fly. He hoped one day to build a jet plane but died (1991) before seeing that dream come to fruition in the form of the 2007 Honda Jet.


CREDITS
Impossible Dream star is Simon Day, British actor, singer and playwright. Simon Day wasnt in the powerboat or Formula One cars. He was filmed lip syncing in a remote field in New Zealand and added later to those shots at The Mill.
Andy Williams sings Impossible Dream (The Quest), written by Joe Darian for the musical Man of La Mancha, for which Darion won the 1965/66 Tony award for best lyrics.

I just read that you wrote that they iguazu falls are from Brazil. Need more info, the Iguazu Falls are on the border between Argentina and Brazil, are formed by 275 waterfalls of which 220 are on the side of Argentina, which means that Argentina has a 85% of the Iguazu Falls. Even the "Devil's Throat" is completely the Argentine side. Greetings
