p. 475 #34 - You find fp and bp of a 0.40 m solution of sucrose in ethanol. There are 2 parts to this video. This is part 2. Unfortunately Part 1 had the video sideways. This video continue that video and has picture vertical as it should be. This problem gives you 0.40 m solution of sucrose (non-electrolyte) in ethanol (solvent). You have to first calculate the ΔTf (change in freezing point) and ΔTb (the change in boiling point). To find the freezing point of the solution you subtract the ΔTf from the freezing point of the pure solvent (published in a table). To find the boiling point of the solution you add the ΔTb to the boiling point of the pure solvent (published in a table). (5.5 min video)
